Piet Mondrian use geometry shapes and red, blue, yellow, black, and white as his rule to create his art. He use the geometry shapes to present different subject such as music and city.

The quotations that I really like is "At the same time, while the basic technology of film-
making is about to disappear being replaced by new digital
technologies, cinematic codes find new roles in the digital
visual culture. " This shows the idea that different generations have different skills.
Another that is interesting to me is " In fact, he simply identifies the pictorial
tradition of realism with the essence of photographic
technology and the tradition of montage and collage with the
essence of digital imaging." Shows that images can be combined together.

On Photography-In Platos Cave

t is interesting to see the author to present the idea the power of the photography.

The sentence in the reading I like most is "To collect photograph is to collect the world". The part of the reading present the idea the strong point of photography. Photography can be a life portrait, a speech, and a personal knowledge. By collecting the photograph, people are able to read every single knowledge that the photographers want to give to audiences.

Also, I like the point that the author shows that photography can be memories, and it is the first function of photography that photographer used. This point make sense for me because of the fact that in my family, we start to have camera for keep the memories of childhood. Parents want to photograph the moment that there children born, the story their children growing up, and the time family to stay together.
